New School Now Has a Name

The new Elementary School in Dryden will be known as “Open Roads Public School.”
Director of Education Jack McMaster says the name has been approved by Public School Board Trustees.
McMaster says a Committee was formed to name the School and admits a couple of students were quite influential in the process.
“Open Roads” was interpreted by Committee members as going on forever, embracing the future and meeting those challenges with an open mind.
The $16-million state-of-the-art School is expected to open its doors in September.
