Next Steps for the Community Improvement Plan

The next steps will soon be in motion for the Community Improvement Plan in Sioux Lookout.
A workshop was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, where a consulter spoke to the public about the plan.
Economic Development Officer Florence Bailey says the top areas are gateway entrances into the community, the most travelled corridors, the downtown core, the airport, increases in residential infilling, improvement to existing businesses, and investment and attraction initiatives.
These measures are aiming to encourage new growth and investment in the community.
