The next step in Mike Richards’ contract with the LA Kings is underway.
On Twitter, the NHL Player’s Association announced they have filed a grievance after Richards had his contract terminated at the end of June.
Richards had 5 years remaining at a cost of $22-million.
The Kings terminated his contract Richards was allegedly held at a border crossing in possession of OxyContin.
A hearing on the grievance is yet to be scheduled.
