Nipigon Officers Cleared

The Special Investigations Unit has cleared two Nipigon provincial
police officers in an alleged sexual assault.
spokesperson Frank Phillips says there are no reasonable grounds to
believe the officers committed any criminal offence.
The SIU received a complaint February 3rd about an alleged sexual
assault on a male suspect who had been in custody.
Details of the alleged incident were not released.
