NMHU Reminder About Vaccinations

The Northwestern Health Unit is urging parents to ensure their children are up to date in vaccinations. The Ottawa Public Health Unit recently suspended 900-elementary students within the Ottawa Catholic School Board for not having their vaccinations updated. The local Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young-Hoon says the move is something any Health Unit can do. She says they may be sending letters out in the Spring warning parents that suspensions can be handed down.
