No Hazardous Waste Day in Dryden

The popular hazardous waste day won’t take place this year in Dryden.
Homeowners have traditionally been able to turn-in their hazardous material to the public works yard free of charge.
The event was scheduled to take place on September 18th, however staff have been forced to cancel it.
Director of Public Works and Engineering Mike Louttit says costs to run the program came in too high.
Louttit hopes to offer the initiative every second year.
