No Job Action Expected At Area High Schools

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board isn’t anticipating any job action by high school teachers.

Southern Ontario has seen labour disruptions over stalled contract talks.

Director of Education Sean Monteith says talks are continuing at a local level.

Monteith says the bargaining process has been a provincially driven one since day one

He notes they are trying to provide updates to staff, students and parents as best they can given the information they recieve from the provincial level.

Monteith stresses their staff is valued and continue to do a lot of great work.
