State Of Emergency Over In Shoal Lake 40

The community of Shoal Lake 40 First Nation is no longer water locked.

Chief Erwin Redsky says the barge passed dry land and water testing by Transport Canada.

Redsky says the barge went into full operation last night and the state of emergency in the community is over.

He notes more work will be done later this year.

The ferry had been out of commission since failing a hull inspection at the end of April.
