No Job Action Yet For The LCBO

It will likely be business as usual at Liquor Control Board of Ontario outlets at least through the May long weekend.

The union representing workers says there are no plans for any job action leading up to that week as it negotiates a new contract.

Members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union voted 93 per cent in favour of strike action a couple weeks ago.

OPSEU president Warren ‘Smokey’ Thomas says contract talks are continuing with a Ministry of Labour conciliator with meetings slated for this month and into June if necessary.
