It will soon be illegal to feed deer in the City of Dryden.
Council is expected to approve an intentional feeding of wildlife by-law next Monday.
Chief Building Official Bob Cunningham says there will be some exceptions.
He notes those with natural vegetation and those living in rural area’s will be exempt from the by-law.
The by-law will require residents to have bird feeders 6-feet above ground.
Fines will range from $200 to $300.
Cunningham says the deer population in the City is out of control.
