No New Cases Of COVID-19

For the first day in over two months there were no reports of COVID-19 in the region.

Yesterday there were 11.

In the meantime the Northwestern Health Unit says it has administered over 31 thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in their catchment area.

In the Kenora area Health Unit staff are immunizing about 500 people a day at their mass vaccination clinics.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports Sunday case results on Monday.

Ontario has recorded 3,216 positive COVID-19 tests and 47 deaths.

That’s around 350 more cases than yesterday’s update, but is nearly 500 less than last Sunday’s count.
