No New Funding For Health Unit

The chief medical officer of health of the Northwestern Health Unit says he is disappointed but not surprised by the provincial government this week.
Dr. Pete Sarsfield says there will be no new money flowing into the health unit according to the latest provincial budget.
Sarsfield says he was hoping the extra tax revenue from cigarettes would be funnelled back into the health care system to help prevent disease.
