Disaster Relief Coming For Atikokanites

Atikokan Township Manager Warren Paulson says a disaster relief committee will be set up to provide help for residents affected by recent severe flooding.
The state of emergency declaration was lifted earlier this week.
Atikokan residents are being encouraged to contact the Township office if they need assistance.
Residents are invited to visit the Township office from 3 until 7pm today if they have any questions or concerns about the flooding.
He adds homeowners should contact their insurance companies despite the fact that they may not be covered for flood damage.
