No Plans To Order Strikers Back To Work

Ontario Labour Minister Chris Stockwell says he has no plans to order striking education support staff back to work.
More than 200 education assistants, librarians and office workers in the Keewatin-Patricia School District have been on the picket lines since early November.
Several rounds of talks between the school board and the union have failed to reach a new contract agreement.
Stockwell says he would only force the education support staff back to work if the school year was being jeopardized.
In the past, the Harris Government has used back-to-work legislation to end teacher strikes in Southern Ontario.
