No Provincial Support For Werner Lake Road Project

The Municipality of Red Lake can forget about provincial support for an all-weather road to the Manitoba border.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines says there is no urgency for the province to take part in the Werner Lake road project.
Howie Wilcox says upgrading the existing main road network is the main priority for the Tory government right now.
Wilcox suggests the project could be looked at by a different government.
Goldcorp pledged 100-thousand dollars two years ago to get the proposed road off the ground.
