No Weekend Rest for Area Fire Crews

Area Fire crews didn’t have a lot of time to rest
over the weekend.
Firefighters responded to several crashes including a collision involving 3 tractor trailer units on Highway 17 in Dinorwic.
2-drivers were transported to Hospital with unknown injuries and Wabigoon Fire responded to the incident.
Fire and Rescue also attended a collision involving a car and a bus on Highway 17 at Florence Street as well as a single vehicle crash on Wilde Street.
No one was seriously injured in either incident.
The Dryden Fire Service was called to a chip pile fire at the back of the
Domtar Mill.
The blaze was extinguished within an hour with help from the Mill fire
team.
