The court battle between Northwestern Ontario’s Wasaya Airways and
NAC Air continues with the recent ruling in Wasaya’s favour.
A Superior Court Justice has set aside a search and seizure order
that included thousands of paper and electronic documents.
In her ruling, Justice Helen Pierce stated that evidence supplied by
NAC didn’t support the granting of the original order and that the search
was overly broad in scope.
NAC Air is alleging that Wasaya has been gaining access to its files and
using information to undercut bids for contracts.
