It’s unclear what a new agreement on energy needs for Ontario and Manitoba will mean for northwestern Ontario.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been inked by Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger.
Both provinces are vowing to work together to find new clean, renewable power.
The agreement will allow both to collaborate on growing the energy sector in a number of key areas, including conservation, efficiency, security and reliability.
