NOMA Conference Over in Fort Frances

More than 200 Municipal leaders have wrapped up their annual conference in Fort Frances.
Delegates voiced concerns to government brass about provincial downloading costs and the ‘Room to Grow’ initiative.
NOMA also established one of the first scholarship programs for the new medical school.
Among the resolutions…Twinning Highway 17, developing uniform smoking regulations and providing more money for Long Term Care Homes.
All of the concerns will be taken back to Cabinet for discussion.
