NOMA Contacted By TVO’s Agenda

Representatives from TVO’s ‘The Agenda’ with Steve Paikin are reaching out to the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association.
TVO staff have called NOMA inquiring about holding two town halls in Thunder Bay.
They want to discuss the Ring of Fire and other mining activities in the Northwest as well as forestry, economic development and energy.
NOMA Vice President Iain Angus says it’s good news and something that will go along ways of spreading the areas concerns.
The program hasn’t officially confirmed its plans and is in the preliminary stages of speaking to municipal leaders about their plans.
