The president of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association likes what he hears.
Dave Canfield recently attended the annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference and says the four big federal parties are stepping up to help communities.
Canfield says they all committed to address concerns in infrastructure and housing.
Canfield notes the Federation has been pushing for a larger federal commitment for a number of years.
He notes will continue to push the issue when the next Prime Minister is sworn in.
