NOMA President Pleased With Meeting

The President of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association says the province has agreed to meet with local leaders once every three months.
Dave Canfield says the promise was made at the recent Northern Leaders Forum.
Canfield says the plan to meet quarterly will ensure the government is keeping its promises to the North.
He notes the meeting with provincial and regional leaders was positive and and opened up discussions on a variety of topics including forestry, infrastructure, and the Ring of Fire.
