Dave Canfield is coming off a one hour closed-door meeting with Premier Kathleen Wynne.
Canfield says they managed to cover a wide-range of topics including infrastructure concerns.
He says some of the funding formulas need tweaking as one infrastructure plan doesn’t fit every single community.
Canfield says while the Premier didn’t make any firm promises for funding, he’s confident his message was heard.
The issue of twinning Highway 17 from Kenora to the Manitoba boundary was also brought up.
