NOMA President Speaking To Empire Club Today

The president of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association will have the ear of the Toronto business community Thursday.
Dave Canfield is one of six panelists invited by the Empire Club for their first ever State of the North Summit.
Canfield is representing NOMA in the lunch-hour forum and will be joined by Al Spacek, the mayor of Kapuskasing, Jamie Lim from the Ontario Forest Industries Association and Lawrence Martin, Grand Chief of the Mushkegowuk Council.
The Empire Club says the summit will look at economic opportunities in northern Ontario, the barriers to achieving them and how to overcome exisiting hurdles.
