The 59th Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association
Conference gets underway in Kenora today.
Municipal delegates will be gathering in Kenora this
evening for the four day conference.
NOMA President Dennis Brown says a number of resolutions
are being created to deal with recent federal and
provincial funding issues.

Members will get down to work starting tomorrow with
meetings and presentations from the Prime Minister Paul
Martin and Several Provincial Cabinet Ministers.
NOMA wraps up on Saturday with the election of the new
executive.
