Provincial support for the Ring of Fire mining development is being encouraged by the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association.
It’s made that request to a legislative committee holding a pre-budget hearing in Fort Frances.
Former NOMA president Ron Nelson suggests a road from Pickle Lake help NorOnt’s Eagle nest project.
Nelson says they would also like to see a transmission line follow that road as well.
