NOP Candidate Says He’s In It To Win It

The candidate for the Northern Ontario Party planning to run in the Don Valley West riding in the next provincial election says it will be a challenge but he’s entering the race to win.

Mickey McIntosh, who is originally from Sudbury, says he jumped at the chance to challenge Premier Kathleen Wynne in her own riding.

McIntosh now lives in Toronto and says you don’t hear a single thing about the north in the GTA.

He believes that may change with his candidacy.

McIntosh says he’s hoping to capitalize on the Premier’s poor showing in the polls during the campaign.
