It appears that exploring for nickel, chromite, copper and zinc in the Ring of Fire isn’t enough for Noront Resources.
Chief Executive Officer Alan Coutts says they are now looking for a partner to explore for gold.
Coutts says they approached about five or six companies and got serious interest from three or four.
He notes two have already done site visits.
Coutts hopes to have something finalized by the end of Summer.
Coutts adds that as of now they haven’t put the kind of money and effort needed to explore for the precious metal.
