North Star Air continues to expand its operations in northwestern Ontario.
The airline has opened its new operating base in Red Lake.
They will be providing charter, passenger and cargo services.
The first communities that will be served are Deer Lake, Pikangikum and Poplar Hill.
Officials add they will also be launching new service next week from Pickle Lake to Neskantaga.
