Keighan Gerrie and Bradley Thrower each scored a pair of goals as the Thunder Bay North Stars defeated the visiting Minnesota Iron Rangers 6-3 Wednesday night.
The North Stars outshot the Iron Rangers 42-26.
Thunder Bay is stuck in third place in the SIJHL standings, 13-points back of first, but 13-ahead of fourth place English River.
They have now won three games in a row.
Minnesota is back in action Thursday at home against Fort Frances.
