The Dryden Ice Dogs jumped out to an early lead only to be humbled 5-2 by the visiting Thunder Bay North Stars Friday night.
Tyson Holder and Rory Court staked Dryden to a 2-0 lead before the Stars responded with five unanswered goals. Dryden is back on the ice Saturday for the Cancer Awareness game at 7:30 against the English River Miners.
