The Dryden Eagles gel their own against one if the top teams in Winnipeg High School football but in the end didn’t have enough fire power.
The Eagles fell 30-0 to the 5-0 West Kildonan Wolverines in the annual Homecoming game Friday at Harry McMaster Field. The Winnipeg team stormed out of the gate with an opening drive before adding a pair if singles in the first quarter. West Kildonan blew the game open in the second with 16 points. The Eagles defense rebounded and didn’t allow a point in the third quarter. The young Eagles squad continues to improve and they will close the season next week in Winnipeg.
