Kenora MP Greg Rickford is disappointed that work hasn’t started on the twinning of Highway 17 from Kenora to the Manitoba Border.
Rickford addressed the Kenora Chamber of Commerce this morning, and thought the work would have started by this fall.
Rickford adds he’s been in touch with Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle and he’s hopeful that it’s important to him.
In addition, Rickford says he feels there is some movement now with Shoal Lake #39 on the project and is hopeful that the project will start before 2015.

MP Hopeful That Twinning Of Hwy 17 May Soon Begin
