North Stars Up 1

Kory McEwan scored a pair of goals to lead the Fort William North Stars past the K&A Goldern Hawks 7-1 in Game 1 of the Best of 7 SIJHL Semi-Final Tuesday night.
McEwan broke open a 1-1 tie with a goal 7 seconds left in the first period.
Carter Hutton was in between the pipes for the win, while Kraig Kuczysnski and Drew Strandberg split duties for the Hawks.
Game 2 is Thursday night at the Delaney Arena.
