The Northern Bands Hockey Tournament is underway in Dryden.
There are 40-teams from communities across the Far North in competition.
The tournament runs all week at the Memorial Arena.
The final game on the opening day is at 8:45 between the Bushtown Jets and Kingfisher Lake.
There will be an opening ceremony at 7:00.
