Discussions to bring the liquids-only protest by Attawapiskat Chief Theresa Spence to an end have intensified over the past 48 hours.
Sources say Spence is examining ways to return to home and nurse herself back to health.
Those discussions are said to be at a fragile stage.
A delegation that includes interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae is working with Spence to reach a solution, possibly by tomorrow.
Spence has denied herself solid food for six weeks in a bid to have Canada’s top leaders take First Nations concerns seriously.
