Northern Mayors Meet With Province To Discuss MPAC

A key meeting today between the Northern Mayors Coalition and provincial officials.
Dryden Mayor Craig Nuttall says they are holding a conference call to discuss northern Ontario Mill property assessments.
Nuttall says the conversation will involve local leaders, several deputy ministers as well as the Parliamentary Assistant of Finance.
Nuttall says they will talk about the problems facing northern communities as well as set future meeting dates.
He notes the MPAC ruling on the Domtar mill has crippled the community and is urging the province to intervene.
