Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP Don Rusnak is in Washington D.C. this week.
He’s there as part of a delegation of MP’s, senators and bureaucrats who will meet with members of congress and government officials.
Rusnak says various issues will be discussed that effect both countries.
He notes trade between the two nations will likely dominate talks.
Rusnak says he’ll also bring up border issues in northwestern Ontario.
Wayne Easter is leading the delegation.
The group returns to Canada on Wednesday.
