Green Party MP Bruce Hyer is panning the Feds budget saying it’s just a hodge-podge of election promises.
Hyer feels the Conservatives missed a great opportunity to provide a prudent plan for Canada’s future economic and social health.
He adds they found money for the war in Syria, cyber-snooping on Canadian citizens, subsidies for big oil, carmakers and Atlantic fisheries, but nothing for the forestry and tourism industries in northern Ontario.
Hyer notes a major investment in infrastructure likely won’t be seen in northwestern Ontario.
He adds there’s no mention of climate change in the 518-page document.
