Northern Ontario Political Party?

North Bay resident Edward Deibel believes Northern Ontario should have its own political party.
A petition is out to register the Northern Ontario Heritage Party, to get on the ballot for the next Provincial election.
The Party’s campaign focuses highly on natural resources, mining, and research for colleges and universities.
Deibel says policy and government direction in the North is urgently needed.
The goal is to get 1,000 signatures.
