Rates for cancer, circulatory diseases, stroke and respiratory
disease are higher in this Region then anywhere in Ontario.
The finding is from the Northwestern Health Unit ‘Health Status’ report.
Dr. Val Mann conducted the research for the paper and says our
lifespan is distinctly different.

77.4 for women, 5-years less than other parts of Ontario.
