The Northwest Catholic District School Board is getting
7-thousand dollars in physical activity funding.
Elementary students at all 5 schools in the region will
receive new equipment such as snow shoes, dvd programs,
and memberships to local fitness clubs.
Director of Education Mary-Catherine Kelly says there are
a variety of uses for the provincial funding.

The seperate school is also being honored for its gym
classes.
The Northwest Catholic Board won the Ontario Physical
and Health Education Educator’s Association Award.
