Northwestern Ontario Students will be getting physically
fit thanks to 7-thousand dollars in provincial funding.
The Northwest Catholic District School Board will be
using the money to purchase equipment such as snow shoes,
dvd programs, and memberships to local fitness clubs.
Director of Education Mary-Catherine Kelly says the
funding will be rolled out to all 5 elementary schools in
the region.

The seperate school board has also been recognized for
it’s gym programs, by winning the Ontario Physical and
Health Education Educator’s Association Award.
