The Northwest Region has a strong voice at the table of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario now that the mayor of Thunder Bay is the new president.
Ken Boshcoff was elected to the post yesterday by his peers at the three day conference in Toronto.
More than 12-hundred municipal politicians and government officials from across Ontario are at the event which wraps up today.
Representing Dryden are Mayor Sid Wintle, Councillor Bill Brown and City Manager Arie Hoogenboom.
