17-year-old Trysta Mackey of Red Lake says living in the “boonies”, there’s no opportunities for singers like her.
MacKey says she had the time of her life even if she didn’t move on.
16-year-old Tara Lecuyer of Ignace was the youngest singer at the try out and was told she has temendous potential.
Lecuyer was competing in the 20-26 year old category.
The girls waited in line for 24 hours.
