Northern Minnesota is now officially part of the Northwestern Ontario Crime Stoppers program.
The International joint effort is the first of its kind in the world.
Koochiching County Sheriff Dwayne Nelson says he’s excited to have such a valuable law enforcement tool at his disposal while International Falls Police Chief Chris Raboin has been a strong supporter of the joint effort.
The launch was held this past Saturday (9-11) and was dedicated to the victims, families and survivors of the terrorist attack 3 years ago.
OPP Detective Constable Gary Potter spearheaded the new International effort.
