Northwestern Ontario Ignored

Politicians in Northwestern Ontario often feel ignored by the Provincial Government especially when it comes to funding issues.
Red Lake Mayor Dunc Wilson, the new president of the Kenora District Municipal Association, says the K-D-M-A executive recently drafted a resolution to that effect.
Wilson says the region and remote communities like Red Lake tend to be forgotten by Queens Park.
However, he adds there are some areas where the province has benefitted the region such as the Northern Heritage Fund.
