The passing of Pope John Paul the Second is being felt around the world including here in Northwestern Ontario.
Reverend Francis Pudicherry of St. Mary’s Church in Fort Frances notes everyone is reacting to the pope’s death in their own way.

Pudicherry spent a few moments with the pope in 1993 and says the meeting was an exciting moment in his life.
Plans are underway for a special mass on Friday at 9-am at
St. Mary’s Church to remember the life of the pope.
