Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen’s Alliance Supporting Changes

No complaints from the head of an area outdoor organization to the moose hunting rule changes from the province.
Among other things, the Ministry of Natural Resources is cutting the number of moose tags it doles out.
John Kaplanis of the Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen’s Alliance supports the changes including reducing the length of the moose hunting season.
He says it remains to be seen if the changes will work, but he hopes they do since the goal is to conserve and sustain the moose population.
