Northwoods and Crimestoppers Honored

Northwestern Ontario and Northern Minnesota Crimestoppers has been
recognized for its public awareness programs and media campaigns.
The group picked up 5 awards at the annual Ontario Branch Awards.
Local President Bill Harrington says this is the third year they’ve
been awarded at the Provincial level.
Harrington says the next step is expanding to First Nation communities in
the North.
All 3-Northwoods Broadcasting stations, including CKDR, won the 2006
Best Feature Coverage of Crimestoppers in Radio Award.
